Late 80s Topps Football Rip

Hello All,

Among the mail today was a box I think came from jerster for the fantasy football league. (If not will the correct person...well, correct me.)

A neat little lot with some PSA 9's of 1983 Topps Football Insert Stickers, have a little stack already and didn't have these, plus some late 80s Topps Football packs. Always fun to open Topps Football packs including 6 1987 Topps. I hope I pull a nice Zimmerman RC. Need one for various registry sets and that card has been over priced since his induction. (Now if I had a few it would be under priced).

Here are the unopened packs....open pack scans to follow...

Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Comments

  • I busted a 1987 Topps wax box from BBCE in November. Out of all the crap I bought myself for my b-day, the 87 football was the most fun.
  • Nice star power in the 89s....little oc.

  • The 88s are very nice. I have all of these in PSA 10 except the Long, but all are submittable I imagine.

  • And the 87s. No Zimmerman but I did get Montana, Young, Dickerson and a few cool RCs. Overall more then my share of stars/rc's from the packs I think.

I will compare these with cards from my raw set later tonight and change out the better. I am sure there are several upgrades within the lot.

Now...off to the park to walk the dogs.

    Clear Skies,

Nice packs. Glad you are having fun. I've been slowly ripping a 89 box I got free from the NFL shop last year. They aren't worth much but are fun cards and lots of stars.

    Thanks for sharing.

I always thought that 88 FB was a nice design. To bad there is a ton of it out there.
