    Wow. That is not good at all unless you are a Biggio fan. You will not be getting your grading fees back if
    you sell.

    The 1989 Donruss PSA 10s are very hard to acquire.

    89 Donruss has always been brutal for me when I've gotten them graded. Don't know why but seems 9's are hard to come by in my experiences...and I've submitted straight out of factory sets and also packs....wax and racks.

    Alright, well, a lesson learned for whomever sent this sub in......talk to peoples on the boards before you send in these type of bulk subs. I'm sure anyone here(me) can assist in describing what flaws to look for in certain issues. The only good thing to do with these is to sell them in the Houston area....

    I am thinking this was someone who collected in the late baseball card heyday. Then quit collecting. Then got back into collecting and did a "little" research and found out about grading. Probably sincerely thought they were all 10's and was going to retire in about 5-7 years if Biggio and Sheffield are both elected to the HOF.

    Career .300 hitter, almost 3000 hits and over 300 HR's by the time he hangs it up, plus he did it all as a catcher, yeah IRod's going to the hall. He was only mentioned in passing in the Mitchell Report and absolutely nothing proven as fact. He may be guilty by association but still no evidence to prove any wrongdoing.

    I believe Ivan will also make the hall.....two of his teams went to the WS after he was acquired and he has always been a good hitter. Plus all the games he's caught and he was outstanding behind the plate in my opinion......

    Not sure what to say! Slabs are nice, but would you really want to pay more than a few bucks for a PSA 9 or 10 of an 89 Donruss card that you could have dozens of for almost nothing and most will look like 10's anyway other than maybe centering? And would anyone actually pay for an 89 Donruss PSA 7 or 8? Even at $5 a card that was a $300 submission.
