Don't drink and Bid!!

I went out with some friends the other night after work and had a few too many drinks. When I went to work this morning I checked my email and I noticed that I had won a bunch of auctions that I had sniped and won. At first I thought that someone had hijacked my account because I didn't remember putting the bids in. I then started to recall what I had done. It is pretty amazing what you are willing to buy when you have had a few too many. I guess it could be worse I didn't go grazy and start buying PSA 6 and 7 Mantles from the early 1960's like I did once before.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

I'm glad I just saw this thread. I just had a few drinks, a couple cigs and headed for the border. Anything better than 11:30pm Taco Bell after a few drinks? Now you've warned me off eBay for the night. Much obliged!

That happened to me once...long before sniping.

I was a little (or a lot) in the bag so to speak and remember being angry at my computer everytime I bid and was outbid. I ended paying 600% of the going rate at the time for the card that I could really have cared less about.

The only saving grace the next morning was that I still only spent under 50 on it. Thankfully it wasn't a big money card.

I did that after watching a Brewers baseball game earlier this year in which Ryan Braun him two bombs. I came home and completely over paid via BIN on a Bowman Chrome X-Fractor BGS 9.5. I will never get my money back out of that card. Liquid courage, Got to love it!

White Castles are the end-all in terms of drinking food.

I'm guilty on a few bidding under the influence charges. I bought a Mantle for about $50.00 too much and a couple of unopened packs (graded) for a decent prices.
