It keeps falling in value, but that is only because of the economy. I think it is fair to say that 2009 will not be the year of recovery. Take your time looking for a really nice PSA 10 that is centered before pulling the trigger.

Good point above. Take your time and you will find yourself a nice centered copy.

The supply of 1983 topps is quite abundant so be patient.

    Good luck.

Don't look for the Sandberg RC PSA 10 to go up in value anytime soon. I bought a Sandberg RC PSA 10 in 2006 when the population of the card was at 90 and as of today the population of the card is at 134. The writing is on the wall, the supply will outgrow the demand that the Sandberg collectors will want for their card.

By the way, shortly after Sandberg was enshrined in the Hall of Fame his card shot up to the mid $800's but dropped back down a few months later.

thanks all, i actually have one and don't really need it. i wanted to trade it in the "trade for a mantle" thread but couldn't find it at the time.
i bought an 83 set and sent in a couple of cards and that was the nicest card. just wondering what it was worth, i don't want to give it away but i would sell it.

my lesson was learned when i kept a shaq rookie (skybox i think) psa 10 it was worth $135-140 and i didn't sell it and now its worth about $30. i don't even like shaq at all so i would rather sell now then later, but this economy is bad, i agree and it may not be the time to sell.

    thanks again
