Looking for a certain Soviet Union coin

Hey all, I saw a coin a while back that I was interested in,
I can't remember much about it, lol, but I do remember that one side featured a view of the earth, with only the Geographical outline of the Soviet Union pictured on it.

thanks! image

A quick browse through my Krause did not come across such a coin from the USSR. However, at least two Commonwealth coins picture a map of Russia:

    Y633. 3 Roubles. 1998
    Y711. 100 Roubles. 2000

I took a look at Don's World Coin Gallery (a Forum member, I think) and I came across this 10 Rouble piece from 1977 (Y150):

  • All the Soviet coins show the USSR side of the Earth with a hammer and sickle superimposed over it.

  • Thanks Harasha, that's probably it - although I don't remember anything overlaying it... but I don't recall it too well to begin with! thanks image

Tbird, yeah I know image - but as far as I know this didn't have anything superimposed on it.
