ok, so i priced my pete rose collection

so i got most of my cards priced there were a few that were not listed. so if i have a price, how much can i expect from that. say i priced out almost $6000 how much should i ask? i would love to just sell to another collector,but then again pete is sealed in plastic and is not eating anything.. don

In the future, I don't know when, it will be easier to sell them for a good price than it is currently.

Hi Don,

I agree with Storm.

Though there are a lot of Rose haters and Hall-of-Fame doubters, I would certainly wait for meatier times.

At least wait until baseball season starts again.

Just think what would happen to the value of your collection if Pete would be elected to the HOF!

Yeah, chances might be slim for now, but there are those that said we'd never see an African-American president too!

Anything's possible in the good ole USA!

If you don't have to sell .... I say wait.

If you want to see what your $6,000 Pete collection will currently yield on eBay, try listing it with a reserve to see how high the bidding goes, or use a fixed price format with a $6,000/BO.

i will have to say that there alot of people still fighting for cards on ebay.people pay big money for his cards. there is a guy that is bugging me about the whole set. he blasts 10k a week on stuff. he has alot of stuff at his shop. he does dvd's,cards,games,records,old magazines. im not in need of any money,so no i really do not need to sell it. im just focusing on libby's pujols collection. don

In my opinion the only way to "price" it is to check each card on Ebay completed auctions. Come up with a relistic value for each card, total it up, knock off 20% and hope someone will pay it for the lot... or sell all the cards individually on Ebay, takes time, costs money, etc.... Good luck.

im not really looking to sell it.i just priced the cards i had on vcp. those are pretty real prices. im going to toss it out there to a guy that is a big buyer(for around here) he is a pete fan too. if i do not sell it its not eating anything. i can put up. don

when i sold my 50 bowman fb # 7 set at a stupid action house, i sure wish i had just pieced them out on the bay and kept my autoed set, i stink
