Why bother? The subject of Tim has been beat to death on this forum, and we all know what kind of person it takes to pull what he did. Even if he sticks around, it's not like he will be posting and going on as if nothing ever happened. I know how this place is, and the way vendettas and grudges seem to go on forever, it's not like he will ever have anything but misery from some of you guys if he stays on here.

In life, sometimes we mess up, make mistakes, or use bad judgement. That is what erinstubby(Tim) clearly done. There is no excuse for it. But, I have to forgive him, or I can't be forgiven, so that is what I have decided to do. By holding hatred or vendettas, it only tears you up inside, not the person you are feeling the hatred towards.

What's tough is 1. Im drunk. 2. Tim didnt solicit money, we just jumped at the chance to help, and 3. Erin/Tim, didnt say a damn word to squash the fundrasing effort. 4. Im drunk,. 5. it seemed like a good thing to do

Forgiveness does not preclude either punishment or retribution.

I favor both forgiveness and vengeful wrath, in cases of severe wrongdoing.

Many - not all - folks who think that "hatred and vendettas" are self-destructive
have never known the exquisite joy of cold revenge. It's tastier than a box
full of 52-Mantles, and is often actually the only relief from being "torn up inside."

I am also a big fan of multiple second-chances, though Tim's case makes
that option useless; he does not want anything to do with the folks here,
and most here feel the same about Tim.

Tim's crimes do not rise to a level deserving super-harsh punishment, but
since he has shown to be willing to put others here at risk of loss, he would
be 86d if this was my board.
