As a huge fan of Tim Lincecum, the signing of Randy Johnson kinda cracks me up. When the two of them are standing together, they're gonna look like father and son -- Johnson is literally a foot taller!
It's a good story. I hope Randy can win 8 or 10 games next year.
i think that's a nice pick up for the giants, he should help he couldn't hurt

collecting RAW Topps baseball cards 1952 Highs to 1972. looking for collector grade (somewhere between psa 4-7 condition). let me know what you have, I'll take it, I want to finish sets, I must have something you can use for trade.
looking for Topps 71-72 hi's-62-53-54-55-59, I have these sets started
yeah, like we saw a giant leap in Glavine and Maddux RCs....... Not even Topps Tiffany can do these guys justice. you can get Gem Mint 10s of any of these 3 for around $60-70
Just remember to cash in after his 298th or 299th. Because once he does get to 300th, all the hype will die down and the values will go down considerably. HAPPENS. EVERY. TIME.

HAHAHAHAHA GREAT RESPONSE!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
He is a HOFer even without the 300 wins. The milestone is a nice touch.
If healthy, Johnson can still be very effective, so its not like he is trying to hang on. He can still pitch.
When Niekro got his 300th win, many older baseball fans said that was the last of the 300 game winners. Since then, a lot of other players got 300 wins or came very close.

I think picking up Randy Johnson was a pretty good move. As legendary future HoFer, he might have some good wisdom to pass on to the young pitchers in the Giants pitching corps. Plus, he couldn't do any worse than any other #5 pitchers the Giants trotted out to the mound last year.

Like the fellow who was arrested for exposing himself in public.
The Judge threw it out for lack of evidence.
