Those 86s are SUPER nice! The sticker is way tougher than the base card.

Shadow boxed memorabilia is cool. Here is one of my pieces. A 2002 US Open Flag signed by Tiger Woods along with the entire ticket set shadow boxed and triple matted.

  • Absolutely amazing. Great display!

Just for the sake of those of you interested in framed displays like that, be sure to invest a few extra $ for UV glass.

you are correct. My mom use to own a custom framing store and she framed all of my stuff for me. She told me that if she would have charged a regular customer for the Tiger piece that it would have been $500-$600. I got it done for free. image Its hard to tell in my pic, but the frame is about 2 inches thick.
  • Great display but I'm wondering why you picked the bottom three cards? Why not go with the 1988 and 1989 Fleer cards.

Actually I purchased the piece as is. I would have probably opted for th 87-88 Fleer then the ones you have listed. At the price I got it for, I can't complain at all. Initially, I had intended to resale but it is such a nice piece I may not be able to part with it.

  • Wow that's totally awesome!

Did you have the whole thing custom matted? or did you make the frame yourself?
