1967 topps 592

Take a look at a 1967 topps 592 psa 8 that is listed on ebay (scan of front and back).

Who the heck graded that card? that is a 6 at best.

It's not centered that well, but it's centered enough to be within the PSA 8 guidelines.

"Centering must be approximately 65/35 to 70/30 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the reverse."

The front side centering is 31/69, and the reverse centering is about 80/20.

It is an 8; PSA defines what it is. It might be a low end 8. The centering looks OK to me, the upper left corner appears suspect. Combine that with the centering, and I would pass if I were looking for that card (which is a tough one).

Corners are good, it's a bit off center due to the card being a bit of an oversized cut - it measures more than the standard 2 1/2" side to side.

I copied that from the description, I'm not an expert with that series so I'll defer to those that are.

Not sure why celesterussel had to create a thread regarding this specific card. The scan blows so I can't really make a judgment.
