Ebay Problem

I won this auction a couple of days ago:Auction

The day after I win the seller emails me and tells me that the auction is just for one card. My question is what doe the the auction state "Older Hockey Cards" not " Older Hockey Card". The she mentions that she has 54 of them. If the auction is for just one card whay would she mention the 54 cards???

I got so fed up with emailing the seller I left them a neg. I refuse to pay for this auction. I'm just a little worried about them filing a NPB form on me. Anything I can do to avoid this?

Thanks,
Ryan

I would not worry too much about the NPB, seems you are in the right. I have never seen anyone with a negative feedback as this seller now does thanks to your neg, -1 that is too funny.

I agree you are in the right. The seller doesnt mention dutch auction or anything like that. It clearly says cards not card. Ebay will side with you on this.

On a side note with zero feed back buyer beware.
  • Good day,
Just curious, you seem a lot more ballsy then me, you spent that kind of money on 1 card and 53 others that you have no idea what they are, and could be (and most likely would be Crap). I usually try and have a little more info on auctions like this.
    Huh?

My guess is that they were all beehives. I have taken a few risks like this and most pay off.
  • Ryan good for you / my guess is ... the seller is a scammer!!!
  • If they file a NPB, make sure you respond to it within eBay dispute console. It doesn't matter how you respond, just as long as you do. That will keep eBay from removing the negative feedback you left.

You will probably get an unpaid item strike against you, but that won't matter unless you keep doing this.
