odd sizes of 55 bowman football?

Seems like this set, far and away more than any other vintage sets I've had cards from, will come in all kinds of different sizes top to bottom. What is the deal? Have I just coincidentally run into a bunch of trimmed cards or?

John,
I have thought the same thing....I think that the 55 and 52 large set are the two that seem to have the most cards that are cut to different sizes.

I have had a bunch that were cut a little shorter than others...They were all in PSA holders. I sold the ones that "bothered" me, but here are some that show different measurements...notsure if scan will show it, but they are slightly different

Im going to have to really go through my cards and see what I can come up with.
