What is your 2009 goal for collecting?

My goals:
1. More autographed rookies...not just baseball but football too.
2. Work on all psa 10 1980 Laughlin Famous Feats. Yeah, I know you have no clue what they are but they are my favorite small set of all time.
3. Get rid of as much garbage as I can. I really want to narrow my collection and get rid of the boxes upon boxes of cards.

What goals does everyone here have?
Barry

My goal for 2009 is the same as 2008, to finish my 1955 Topps Baseball in PSA 4 or better. I did not quite make it this year, 7 to go. My only other goal is to finish 1960 Topps Baseball in PSA someday. I guess odds are 50-50 that I can get it done.

Somebody beat you to this topic, I'm afraid.... Shine in 2009.

But, in '09, I plan to start a collection of Nick's smart-ass comments... That may be too cumbersome, though. I may need to narrow my focus. image

Upgrades - Would hopefully like to steal some nice cards off ebay...maybe not, but then again maybe.
  • Same as last year - spend less money.

I hope to actually meet my goal...unlike last year.

    2. Find profitable flips to help fund the important purchases
    3. Stop buying old wax in an attempt to hit the jackpot
