Help! 4 Hockey Jerseys going too cheap on Ebay

I'm looking for some help on why my auctions aren't getting more action. I have four hockey jerseys on eBay (each ending Thursday Dec. 18). They are getting some views and a few watchers but no bids and they are too cheap at the current bid levels. I have a low/fair shipping price and started them out to make sure they are sold....just hoping for a price closer to what I paid and not giving them away. I appreciate any hints and criticisms that may help in the future.

Sorry I don't know how to put the links on here but here are the auction item numbers:

  • Stuff like Hockey Jerseys or any Sport Jersey for that fact, should be sold with a BIN price or best offer.

Starting them off @.99 could be suicidal considering the specific nature of the items. (as you can plainly see)

or posting spam on a message board
  • 1. They're relatively small sizes. I wear a L/XL usually and wear a 2XL hockey jersey. Those in the auctions are mediums.
    2. It is still quite early. Most bidding in iny eBay auction now comes within the last few hours and the last few seconds with snipers.
    3. Like someone else said, I would have recommended buy-it-nows or set a reserve if you don't want to lose money on them.
    4. The Blues suck.

Or, when you get to 12+ hours left on the listing, you can cancel the listings, IF you don't have any good
bids by then. (I would NOT rely on a snipe to save me, in this case.)

As noted above, those items need to be BINs or BINs with BOs. Auctions of those items - in this market
environment - are likely doomed to close at the opening bid; unless you get VERY lucky....and, you might.

    ........

If there are 12 hours or more before the end of the listing, you can end the listing early without restrictions.
If there are any bids on your item when you end the listing, you’ll be asked whether you want to cancel the
bids or sell the item to the high bidder.

If you are in a hurry to sell, end the listings now and relist as BINs.
