Most of Ewbank's items were sold at his estate sale, however a few items including all his files in one lot, where sold at a public auction before the estate sale. I managed to meet the guy that bought the files and was able to get first pick. Grabbed most of the cool team files (Browns, Packers), got his application file (sold an early Joe Paterno letter for $1500 from that file), his speech file and a few other things. I was working on an Ewbank book at one time. Left a lot of stuff behind I had no funds for.
