I'm REALLY enjoying it too...but I'm amazed at the amount of turnovers. I never knew that about this game.

I just realized this, but Marchetti's rookie card is 1952, and doesn't appear again until 1957. I wonder why there was a 5 year void in his cards? hmm?

How cool was the crash scene analyzer trying to determine if Gifford actually had the first down...great stuff!

Most of Ewbank's items were sold at his estate sale, however a few items including all his files in one lot, where sold at a public auction before the estate sale. I managed to meet the guy that bought the files and was able to get first pick. Grabbed most of the cool team files (Browns, Packers), got his application file (sold an early Joe Paterno letter for $1500 from that file), his speech file and a few other things. I was working on an Ewbank book at one time. Left a lot of stuff behind I had no funds for.
