Recent Pickup What do You Think?

Good Morning,
Saw this auction last week and started a thread to make fun of the Tradding card flub. Then forgot about it. Was looking at my Watched stuff last night and saw it was relisted with price drop and right then My Wife pulls up in the driveway and I need to get off the computor (Date Night, Computer/Cards not allowed), so on the spur of the moment I hit the BIN. This morning I paid and used my $25.00 from Fee-Bay, so it ended up costing me $15.00.
So I looked them up this morning and I don't really see how I could lose.
I think unless they are really trimmed or trashed I should do OK.
What do you think?

Auction #220327551638

Thanks
Neil

  • For $15 I would take it too.

    $15 seems a reasonable risk.

I think someone should report that seller to Ebay for excessive shipping.

I don't think there trashed but kinda hard to tell by that picture.

The Berra obviously has rounded corners but the centering looks decent.
The Aaron looks a wee off-center top to bottom.
The Wilson is tilted but the Starr looks pretty good.
The Namath cards I really can't tell. The one in the 1 screw holder looks like it has rounded corners but that might just be the holder it's in.

Looks like a nice deal that any collector would enjoy.

Nice pickup. At the very least you could get them slabbed as authentic. Can't wait to see better pictures and find out how well they were packaged for $10.

How come I can order a 61" TV online and get free white glove shipping... but buying 5 non graded cards on ebay costs $10 to ship?

She wanted $20 for S+H, a few days ago.

  • Storm,
I e-mailed her at that time with my canned "Your Shipping Charges are BS" E-mail. Must be why she lowered.
Shipping was still too much, but the overall deal made up for it.
