Result is In!!! PSA POP Report HELP Needed PLEASE!!

well, the results are in.. it is AUTHENTIC.. not that big of a card, but 3 weeks ago i bought a 1922 American Caramel E121 Jack McInnis on eBay for a whopping $1.04. when i got it, it looked fake to me.. to white.. all i have seen are more cream color..

but i included it with a Sub of 3 other cards to SGC, and the grades popped today.. it gradedan SGC 50 (vg/ex 4) not bad for $1.04 plus grading.

so, can someone please tell me the PSA population repirt for this card? i would like to know the total population report.
Thi sis the highest graded by SGC.

  • thank you very much for the fast reply.
  • I wouldn't get too excited until you have the card in hand. There was a thrad on here a while back regarding a Steve Carlton rookie (I think) that was sent to SGC. Results were posted on the thread as soon as they popped and I believe it got an 86-88 or somewhere in that range. Two days later it was downgraded to authentic.

    What a coincidence. My bad.

Congrats on the grade. Are you planning on selling it? Seems like a pretty hefty profit is waiting.
  • yep, going to be sold to pay for my wrecked car.. woo hoo...

in this submission was also a 1929 Churchman Babe Ruth.. it graded out an SGC 80 ( ex/nm 6) i bought that card for $102.50.. it should sell for $200 or so.

Fwiw - the only sale I could find on either of the pricing sites was a PSA 5 for $134.99.

    Nice pickup!!

Very nice! I wonder how that slipped through the cracks? Was it listed in some obscure place?

Those vintage guys usually don't miss cards like that.

    Good for you.

Definitely! I'd be very happy for $1.04!
  • Here is teh auction.. bad picture.. listed as 1921, it is actually 1922.. but for $1.04.. well worth the risk
