If you get Brian's song, perhaps you could convince her that a PSA 9 1969 Topps Brian Piccolo RC might be the best way to remember the movie. I love that card!

Just wondering why your wife has to like football? I wouldn't force a book about sports to her if I were you.

Seperate hobbies and interests are the key to a long successful marriage. If my wife started hunting, fishing and golfing, I'd be miserable....

She doesn't have to like football, she just told me that she would read a book about football for me. In return I'm reading a book of her choice.

Ryan, Do what I did with my ex. Let her have the TV in the living room, go out and buy yourself a 32" HDTV with PS3 and surround sound for the bedroom and watch football in there in peace and quiet. While you are at it, buy Madden 09. When there is no football on you can play football. BTW, Madden 09 is the bomb. It is so crystal clear in HD that Madden is actually sharper than a real football game. Thank goodness for PS3 and the batchelor life now.

My wife and I enjoy some shows on TV together, but we also have an agreement.

I don't make her watch football,
and she doesn't make me watch those shows about designing clothes and redecorating the house. image

Instead of watching BRIAN'S SONG, how about watching "DEBBIE DOES DALLAS" with her. That is an historical account of the Cowboys, right Lawnmowerman?

  • Meat on the Hoof or They Call Me Assassin.

    Two rather enjoyable feminine reads.

Could go the Paper Lion route, too.

Instant Replay - or Distant Replay - by Jerry Kramer are alright.

Don't really dig on the Pukers, though.

Really manhandled Houston yesterday at Lambeau.

Limited the Texans to roughly nine miles of total offense.

  • Just watch a couple of episodes of Diff'rent Strokes. It's like watching the 90's Cowboys.
