Any Worth to 1976 Topps Wonder Bread Set?

Good Morning,
Is there any worth to a 1976 Topps Wonder Bread Football All Star set? I have a chance at a NM set complete, at low dollar.

    i saw a '77 holiday inn round disc set this past thanksgiving at a card shop in memphis, tn, but didnt buy it.

    it was in fine shape, but i passed.

    If I remember correctly, in the late 1980's early 1990's, there was a huge warehouse find of those sets. I bought a few at $1.50 each.......and still have them I think.

    How about the 1976 Wonder Bread/Town Talk versions? Are they also plentiful?

    I have a couple singles from that set on my want list. I haven't been looking for them for a while, but can't remember if I have actually seen any when I was browsing eBay in years past?
    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    These are priceless, to me. I know, I know many of you have heard the story before but here we go again. These are my very first football cards that were given to me by my great grandmother when I was nine, 33 years ago. I can still remember her taking the from the top of her fridge to give to me. Boy, I bet she had no idea that she created a monster. I hope to give them to my great grandson someday. For some reason I never threw them away and they're sitting on a shelf right above my monitor.

    I also still have my first 1976 Wonder Bread cards--all creased up, rounded corners, and pin holes at the top as I displayed them on my thumb tack board. Those and some 1975 and 1976 Topps Football cards were the first cards I ever got--still have them all in a card board box in my closet. I replaced all the ones that I needed for my player/team collections--but like the above poster, I could not just throw the old, original ones away.

    I have a 1000 count vending box that was really cheep when I bought it.

    Sooner those are great, reminds me of cutting baseball cards off the back of twinkie boxes when I was a kid.

    I even have about a third of the set signed and dont know why ??

    Oh good Lord me too. Just think of how nice it would be to have those twinkie cards as panels. They had to put dotted lines on them so as little kids we just HAD to cut'em up. Or dare I mention the Bird/Magic/Erving card that all most EVERYONE rendered worthless by tearing them into pieces. It's like they were setting us up the fail.

    Yeah, they must've printed a bazillion sets back at the time.

    (I'm actually old enough to remember cards and stickers coming in bread, cereal, etc !)



    The cards simply aren't attractive, and the player selection pretty much sucks (no Staubach/Bradshaw/Payton/etc). It really has nothing going for it, other than age.

    It'll never be worth more than about $2 a set.
