Crossover 1971 Topps Nolan Ryan GAI to PSA

I am looking at getting this 1971 Topps Nolan Ryan (graded 9 by GAI) as a crossover to PSA.
What do you think it would grade in PSA? An 8 or 9 maybe?
Hopefully the 3 pictures i uploaded will show up as an attachment.
Thanks

Very tough to tell from the small scans.

Scans are small, but the consensus here is you must first have the stones to crack it out, before submitting. GAI cards don't exactly have a great track record when crossing slabbed. Nice Card, looks just fine in the present holder.

The images are far to small to see any detail.

Just hope it is not trimmed.

Maybe it's the elusive 71 Topps mini!!!
  • I would guess it crosses to a PSA 8 with a TS (too small) qualifier.

I would also be worried about the black magic marker. There's a reason a card that good looking hasn't been crossed already.

I would look at it under huge magnification and bright light before cracking it, looking for trimming and recoloring.

    PSA 9 (MFM)

    That's a made-for-midgets qualifier.

All the more reason I'm not taking any chances with the set I'm building. All HOFers and checklists I get in PSA 7. Surely people won't bother trimming or doctoring commons/semistars, right?

BTW, what year is your 'Vette?
