New Ways to Piss Off the E-bay Censors !!!!

Good Morning,

Well in my infinite wisdom I have once again found a new way to Violate the E-bay Policy Police's Rules. After just geting off of probation for a bunch of pulled auctions from three months ago, just last week. (This was for using a template I had been using for over 5 years mentioning cash, got almost 200 auctions pulled)

So anyway, wake up this morning and this Auction has been pulled:

You recently listed the following auction-style listing:

200280239539 - 1991 True Crime II Card Wax Pack Lot 4 each Unopened

The was removed because it violated the eBay Murderabilia policy. We notified members who placed bids on the item that the listing has been canceled.

The sale of items closely associated with individuals who are notorious for committing murderous acts is deeply offensive to the families of victims. Items and item descriptions that graphically portray such acts may be removed.

Murderabilia.....Even the Word makes me Crack Up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I bought a case of boxes a couple of years ago, and have been selling packs ever since. And even better I have the same heading on a complete set of these and a second listing with a lot of 140, in my Store and neither one of these got pulled.

I just did some checking and there are Thousands of listings with Serial Killers, Murderers, Gangsters, Ect. on E-bay....Shouldn't all of them be pulled as well!!!!!!

Have you had any upset buyers recently? If so, they may have reported your listings.

    Good point.
  • Good day,
You guy's are missing the point. I don't know if it was reported or not, Don't care, the point of the thread is the inconsistency of E-bay's Policy inforcement and definition. And what do I/We have to be worried about that we cannot even concieve of as being a policy violation!
Just checked my Seller dashboard and after three months of being in Poor policy Compliance (200 Violations), finally got back to Good last week, last night have one auction pulled and I am back at Poor!
    Thanks

The violated rule is longstanding; not a new thing. Single takedowns
are usually bot-generated. A live-report will usually poof all violations.

Some sellers have skirted the rule by listing in the "mature audiences"
category. Murder, rape, and pedophilia are fine there; and, you don't
even have to accept PayPal in MA.

buy.com has large offerings of porn and mayhem literature on EBAY.

Small and medium-sized sellers are simply NOT wanted on EBAY, at
this time. MANY cheerleaders who have supported EBAY for years
are NOW being TOSd; they now better understand that the pogrom
    is aimed at almost EVERYBODY.

    .........

Listings and traffic will EXPLODE on alternative sites, in January.

ecrater.com is already viable. With EBAY traffic in the toilet, the
alts will only get bigger as sellers continue to migrate.

    Thats offensive...to someone....probably image
  • I am offended by this thread because no one will respond to my thread. I have reported this thread to ArnyV.
  • They did the same thing for me when I put up some sets after breaking a box of True Crime I and II. I did sell couple of sets listing them as 24 hour auctions. I eventually gave up and sell them on Naxcom now.

So, if thats true, when are they going to start taking OJ Simpson cards off of the bay?
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY
