Went for my run today in 20 degree weather with 10-15 mph winds. I froze my a@@ off. I guess it's time to start running on the treadmill at the gym.

Not a bad winter when your in Southern California. Nothing like going for a nice run or ride on a bike in December on a nice chilly 53 degree morning and then heading to the beach with a nice sunny afternoon..Not to mention sitting at the beach catching some sun, but you can still see the snow on the mountains.....Then you drive about an hour and your on the slopes..Yee Haw. Not to mention minutes away from a UCLA or USC any sports game or a Lakers or Clippers game...Oh yes, the woman in So Cal are still HOT in the winter.....I better stop now, Sorry Rube.

i get 3 checks a month regardless of when it is , but i hate winter, id just as soon hibernate like a bear till spring, its 22 here now,with wind its 14
i could go for some 82 right about now believe me,i was lookin gat nam trips last night,its warm there, and they dont want to kill us anymore, just want outr $ now

The leaves are finally starting to turn here in central Cali. Not sure what this "winter" thing is you guys are talking about. We're really enjoying autumn, though. Sure wish we'd get some rain.

hi bill, hi barry, hi geordie, the rubecave is so well insulated, my father in law used to work at a place that made fiberglass for atomic subs and the space shuttle, and it is stuffed with it,every inch!!! reg insulation has a r value of what 20-40 - i got about r - 200 here lol
i cant hear anything outside its insulated so good, not that there s anything out there anyways, woods

and maybe calyton bigsby?

Forecast is calling for 2 to 4 inches of this white sh, er um stuff. Been barely getting into the 30's during the days for the past week and teens and single digits at night. I HATE this time of the year.

Good Day,
It's getting scary here in the Rocky Mountains. It was in the 50-60's the last three weeks, we have ahd one storm a month ago 3-4 inches. Ski areas laying off people, first time in their history. No snow in the forecast for the next week again.
Really Scary.
I hate snow, but need it for a living!!!!

Rube - don't know about 'Nam these days - don't care anymore.

But here on the island we got sunshine and women - its called Florida. If I walk slow, the beach is 6 minutes walk ... If i hurry, its about two waves and I'm there ...

Moved up North for 4 months .. nice summer, beautiful fall ... but for winter - its back to the sunshine state. Hula, hula

Sorry Rube but West Virginians are getting no sympathy from a frigid Canadian. Always difficult to translate celsius into farenheit, so I will simply tell you that is has been damn cold here in southern Ontario the past week or so. In fact, I think we were close to breaking a couple of records.

Alas, only 12.5 more years until my retirement and then the missus and I will be spending our winters in sunny Florida. Wonder if Matt's garage will be available.....

id go to nam but you cnt live there , just 6 months at a time visa? kinda stupid, send me my checks there and id live like a king,nice beach, nice woods,probably still dont wann go walking around in them though you might go boom by old unstable stuff from war

china beacvh or where john jerry got passed around to in that french resort town would be fine with me
