which city should get next MLS franchise ?

The race is on for the next Major League Soccer franchise. Seattle begins next year (their basketball is gone), Philadelphia starts play in 2010.
However, the sports stars are coming out to rally for their prospective cities:
Vancouver - 2 time NBA MVP Steve Nash is investing partner who want to see the Whitecaps get into the top level.
St. Louis - Albert Pujols is backing the Gateway city to get into the act. They lost out to Philly in the last round.
Miami - Spanish soccer giants Barcelona F.C. are wanting to invest in having a club in Florida.
Ottawa - The NHL's Ottawa Senator's owner wants to have a rivalry with the success of Toronto FC.
New York - The N.Y. Mets want to build a soccer specific stadium next to their facility. MLS wants another franchise in the "big apple".
Who do you think should get in next ?
Teams with their own soccer stadiums:
Real Salt Lake - Rio Tinto Stadium
Chicago Fire - Toyota Park
Columbus Crew - Crew Stadium
Los Angeles / Chivas (share stadium) - Home Depot Center
Toronto FC - BMO Field
New York Red Bull (next year) - red Bull Park
FC Dallas - Pizza Hut Park
Colorado Rapids - Dick's Sporting Goods Park

Similar to hockey but has a ball. Similar in the fact that no one in the US watches it.
<< <i>With the hispanic community and support of a huge franchise in FCB, I'm gonna go with Miami. >>
I agree and would bet on Miami.

They could sure improve the game if they let you use your hands and tackle people.
Sorry, just didn't grow up with soccer, I grew up an American kid where you used your hands and got your ass kicked if you ever, ever faked an injury!

It's called rugby. As a hatter of all sports not associated with America, I have no idea why rugby has never caught on in America. There is a rugby club that plays on the field at my son's school. Very entertaining to watch and absolutely brutal game. It's just like regular football accept they have no pads or helmets.
Played intramural soccer in college and played in the top league. We were called the Maulers and did just that to all the exchange students on the other team. In three years we scored one goal, but had a lot of fun roughing up guys named Hans and suburban American kids who thought they were Pele.

A: Its the punch in the head we give idiots who ask stupid questions ... <SOC-CER> hahahahaha
Soccer is the sport not understood by people with an I.Q. less than a house plant.
As for not being associated with America ... uh like baseball that has 50% Spanish speaking players ? Japanese ? Cubans ?
How about the glut foreign stars in the NBA ?
Or the influx of internationals in the NHL ?
Welcome to the 21st century !
