PSA/DNA Questions

i have a few questions about PSA/DNA. i have 1 card that i would like to get authenticated and slabbed.

i do not have a PSA membership, do i need one?
what is the turn around time for PSA/DNA?
where is the form to submit?
How much does it cost? (the player is Frank Hayes)

  • Just like a Brewers fan to be soooo helpful!

CardsForMS - I do not see Frank Hayes on their authentication price list, you have to call or e-mail them. But you do not have to be a member to use PSA/DNA.

So...leathtech....how much is it for PSA/DNA to authenticate Frank Hayes? Oh, you have to call or email. I guess I was helpful after all.

Leave it to a Cubs fan to overlook that.

If it's a card that you value under $100, I'll be happy to add it to a submission I'm sending this week at the November special rate - $10.
  • just like the Brewers will be kind of good next year, you were kind of helpful to the OP.

Now before you pop off about choking in the playoffs, at least the Cubs can get there and not just choke down the stretch.

    0-3
    1-3

    Cubs
    Brewers

Match the 2008 postseason record with the correct team.

When your Cubs win a postseason game, get back to me with the postseason smacktalk.

that's an easy match since the Brewers can't make the playoffs in what many have called the weakest division in baseball for years.

Did you fall into a coma for the 2008 season? I'm just curious. In case you did, here's a quick recap.

The Brewers beat the Cubs on the last day of the season to win the Wild Card and go to the playoffs. In the postseason, the Cubs were swept in 3 games by the NL West Champs, the LA Dodgers. The Brewers lost 3 of 4 games to the Philadelphia Phillies, who went on to beat the Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays to win the World Series.

So, please explain how "the Brewers can't make the playoffs in what many have called the weakest division in baseball for years."

Edited to add: The Dodgers (who swept the Cubs in 3 games in round 1 of the playoffs) were 78-84 in the regular season. They would have finished 5th in what you called "the weakest division in baseball".

Don't worry if your not a Cubs/Brewers fan you just won't get it... Brewers fans just hate to see their ballpark filled up with 70% Cubs fans.

image you're right they did make it in... I guess their time in the playoffs was just a memorable as the Cubs image

I apologize for mocking their wonderful year of CC - to bad they can't afford to pay him or Sheets.

That's not true. We loved watching all of you leave, dejected, after your boys were beaten on the last day of the season.
  • Back to the topic. I think I read that Photos/Autos and such requiring PSA/DNA service, doesn't require CC membership.

I hope that's true, cuz my mbrshp expired and I'd just sent two old photos in last week for authentication.
  • A membership is not required for PSA/DNA, however it might (likely is) be to use the special, which is what slantycouch was referring to.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
