    Could be a substantial impact.

I think you may start seeing a lot more $5.00/$6.00 grading specials at PSA.

I don't plan on sending in anymore if I can't get back the last one I sent( took directly to public Friday submission) in over 2 months ago.

Wow. That's a long time. My last 103 card sub received 10/17, shipped 10/29, received by me 10/31. I was tempted to bring down my latest sub since they are 30min away from me, but I decided to ship it off today.

The economy really has no influence on whether or not I send cards in.

However, the rough handling chimp working in the slabbing dept, ruining my cards does.

For collectors it should have little impact. For the people who buy raw, grade and flip it may have an impact.

I hear ya, I had some 1954 Bowmans ruined by said person. Joe said to send them to him but what will that do?

The cards are ruined and I don't need to hear a BS excuse on why they are not responcible.

If I get some more 50's cards I'd send them in knowing it is a crapshoot though.

I will submit less even though I am a collector. My 2 cents - the impact will grow as the
    unemployment rate rises.

I am very lucky to have a good paying job that allows to do this for fun.

"For collectors it should have little impact. For the people who buy raw, grade and flip it may have an impact. "

Last week's SEC filings and the CLCT conference call indicate that may be the case.

Prices on expensive stuff can slip a good bit more and have little effect on submissions.

Prices on the cheap stuff are already in the toilet, and this is already having an impact.
Large submitters may have to modify their business models, if these prices continue
    to decline.

"5%, decrease in sports cards grading and authentication revenues."

Not too shabby considering the economy.
