Thought I'd share some Dallas cowboy autographs from 1983 training camp

When I was 12 in 1983 my mother (bless her heart) drove myself and some of my buddies to their training camp in Thousand Oaks Cal Luthern College. I lived about 20 minutes away and we went just about everday we could go. I had as many players sign the program as I could. Heres the scan of the program. I was a helmet carrier for Glenn Carano. I know what your thinking, WHO??? we used to play pick up football games and Rafael Septien would quartback for both teams. Hearing what he did later on in life made me feel a bit creepy. I know there are some Cowbow fans out there so I thought I'd share these.

  • Very nice....looks like you really made your way around the players.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
  • That is some great Cowboy stuff! I really love the classic poses the players are in. Very Cool stuuf!

That's very cool and brings back memories. I also didn't live too far from their training camp, but never made it out there. My father had gone a couple of times when I was little and met some of the players because one of his drivers at work was good friends with Tom Laundry.

  • I've only been to a handful of the Dallas Cowboy training camps. I've always wondered why they trained over here.
