    I wonder if you can buy it direct from La Times. Last year or so I bought a USA today from 1989 directly from USA today. Cost a few dollars. I also bought many newspaper articles online for like $2.

    The Times does not carry back issues that far. Have you seen realized prices for Times copies after Obama was elected? The prices were amazing but will come down now since the Times is selling directly online.
