who is excited about NBA season?!

Growing up as a Miami Heat fan, I am renewing my excitement to follow NBA season more closely this year.

Seeing how popular basketball and NBA are oversea during the Olympic, do you see basketball becoming the most popular global sport in the years to come (over soccer)?

Go Bulls here. Anyone need a guard????? I can watch NBA just like I can watch any baseball game. I am excited to see how Rose, Oden and Beasley do this year.
  • I know how you feel guys. I can't wait for 8 months of Sportscenter starting off with basketball and hockey. I will be in hibernation if anyone needs me.

I'm a life long Pacers fan and am curious to see how they do this year. We've made some big moves this off season adding seven new players during the summer. Sadly, I don't think they will be better than a .500 team.

Nice start for the Bullies... was kind of weird to see Skiles on the visitors bench. I really liked Scott to bad the team stopped playing for him.

I am very excited. I guess its thanks to Derrick Rose. I watched him play in HS, AAU and college and it willbe great to see him in theNBA. Lets hope it works out better then the last Bulls player I watched play HS, AAU and college ball. Where is Shannon Brown anyway?

Wow, I just looked at the Bulls guys that played tonight. They're loaded this year. They should contend in the East...

We share the same outlook on this, Rube. And every time I mention this to people around here they echo that sentiment.

In the 90s, you couldn't find a vacant basketball court around here no matter how hard you tried. It's the exact opposite nowadays.

DRose is supposed to be amazing but I can't get into it. It's not 1998.
  • I am fired up for the season. Sixers look to be top 3 or 4 in the East this year and should play an exciting "Brand" of basketball. I am also interested in seeing what the Lakers will do for a full season with Bynum healthy and Gasol at the 4. Probably the last ride for the Suns and Shaq which should also be interesting.

SHould be a ton of fun.

As a past 15 year season ticket holder of the LA Lakers

I can easily say I wont watch a single NBA game this year.
