What are your greatest or most profitable raw card purchases?

I'd like to know what are some of everyone's best raw card purchases. I'm not talking about great cards where you had to pay top dollar. I'm talking about the ones you bought at a great price and then submitted and got a grade that made the purchase very profitable. I've made a few while putting my '61 set together. Here is the most recent.
'61 Yastrzemski Auction
and it turned into this

I did buy roughly 300 Ryan Howard Bowman, Bowman Chrome, Bowman Gold rookies the year he was called up for an average of $4 each and have sold most of those off at a pretty nice profit. Never got them graded since I noticed they arent commanding a super premium.
Still have 'em, but never got 'em slabbed.
They make nice Safe Deposit Box stuffers!

I'll give you my '61 set for the 3 Mantles.
sorry for the poor scan. I'm like 90% sure it would cross to a PSA 8 if and when I decide to do it.

Mike,
great looking card and a heck of a pickup for $80!
I agree it should be an easy 8 if the corners are sharper than they appear.

Purchased raw on Ebay for $1.00
Sent to PSA, and slabbed 8 (as part of a free sub).
Sold for $40.00
I'd say 40X isn't a bad return.
Mantle = SGC 84
Koufax = SGC 84
Banks = SGC 80
I sold the Musial and Killebrew here on the BST, and I still have the F Robinson raw.
a few months ago I won a raw 51 Bowman Campanella for $50.00 and it graded SGC 84.
55 topps Norm Zauchin raw 60 bucks, now PSA 8 second lowest pop in the set, should be 1500-1800 card depending on whose bidding
it is a pop 2 card and it is the scarcer variety.
I'm hoping one of the whales needs/wants it.
