Anybody going to PSA's Public Friday tomorrow? I'm stopping by to drop off some cards for reholdering.

I wish I could drop off cards like that. I live in Seattle and PSA has never been up here. I don't understand why PSA doesn't travel more to accept subs. I realize they can't do on site grading everywhere. Sometimes the shipping is what delays me in sending in more subs.

    JackWESQ,

Question for you on re-holdering. Do you know if they keep your old flip or print a new one. I have some cards that were graded before the .5 change that need new cases but I don't want new flips so it appears that they were graded after the .5 change and did not receive a bump. Can you request that they not use a new flip??

    Make sense??

    Thanks

    Jeff

    Dear Mickey71,

Yes, I am fortunate that PSA is "right next door." Actually, their offices are about 15 minutes from where I live. So it's pretty convenient. What's funny is that PSA advertises their "offices" in Newport Beach because that is where their post office box is at. But, in reality, they are located in Santa Ana, California.

    Dear jeff8877,

I understand your question completely. I've only had one card reholdered. I scanned it before sending it in and after receiving it. I'll check the label and let you know.

I was going to drop off a bunch of cards tomorrow until I realized --------------

Breeders Cup Friday/Saturday at Santa Anita.
I can't miss that. I love horse racing and the first post is early. image

And yes it is real nice to be local to the PSA office in Southern Calif. - I guess I will have to wait until Nov Friday submission day. I will never mail the cards to them because of a bad experience I had many years ago.

  • Nope. Still walking a bit bow-legged as a result of my last submission. Tuck's Medicated Pads do seem to be working quite nicely, however.

    Dear jeff8877,

I checked the flips and when they reholdered the card, it went from a

    "MINT 9" to a

    "MINT
    9"

So, they did not use the same label. Now, I didn't request them to use the same label. So maybe PSA could have. But I'll ask them tomorrow if, on a reholdering submission, they can use the same flip.

P.S. On the second MINT 9, the "9" is below the "T", but I don't know how to insert spacing on this post.
