The last few months have been a little crazy. I was posting a few threads beforehand under my old name of 'DaleMurphyCollector'. I had forgotten all of my passwords and changed internet providers so lost my old email account. When I was last posting my girlfriend (now fiance, come Saturday will be wife) had pulled the goalie on me. Well it turns out that the goalie pull is going to be a little daddy's girl and future golfer if I have any say so. My spare bedroom which housed my large collection of 1980's cheap cards had to be moved into a closet so that the room could become a nursery. All is done on the nursery and I have 2 month till little Emma makes her appearance. Now that I have all of my ducks in a row, I can dabble in my card fetish.
In honor of my return, I suggest that all threads started for the next 3 weeks focus solely on one of three topics; Dale Murphy and his derservingness (not a real word) of HOF status, OPC and hoe undervalued they are now and how they will some day explode in popularity, and finally Nick Saban and his ability to be just plain awesome (Dolphin fans need not apply here!)
I thank you all in advance for adhering to my request.

I'm not sure about OPC, but I do consider the hoe to be undervalued, and would be happy to discuss this very important topic.

However, I can add to any topic as long as it happens to be Dale Murphy, OPC, or the ten levels of awesomeness that Nick Saban has achieved!!!!!
Also I mispell words and I have a tendency to make up new words, so please bear with me.
It will only get worse once Mrs. Emma arrives and I lose valueable sleep time.

I have to say - when the new 90210 came on, I was intrigued so I watched a couple - not half as good (and by good, I mean totally horrible) as the original so I picked up season 2 of the original on DVD and watched a few. I highly recommend this...it's pure culture shock to remember the clothes and hair that these people wore, but more tragically, when they go to the beach for half the season, there are no implants out there. Wow, TV and Califoirnia beaches sure have changed since 1991. And also, how Jennie Garth was the sex appeal on the show was beyond me even when I watched it as it aired in the early 90's. She was never all that attractive.

1) I really enjoyed the 89 Fleer threads, I'm all about cheap wax busts and the insight on all the error variations
2) The BBCE group busts with scans was at about four levels of awesomeness!!!! ONly six away from Nick Saban!
3) I am jealous of tsalem's 77 OPC collection. THe PSA 10 Ryan K leader registered on my awesomeness scale with a score of 8

I happen to agree with you on Murphy. My all time favorite player and one of the nicest human beings I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I can understand Dolphin fans being haters
As far as Bama being overrated, give us the benefit of the doubt. Any team in the SEC that makes it this far undeated deserves a little props. We may not end up undeafeated but after our last many years a little hope is all we ask for. I remember the Mike Dubose years, ouch.
Do you send in 83 Donruss for grading, if so I have some flawless raw D Murphs one of which I submitted and it came back a 10
Let me know, and say your sorry for insulting Nick and 10 levels of uber-awesomeness.
Oh yeah, lets rally behind the Murph and get him in the HOF
P.S. I sound like a broken record that skips and only says one thing, which is the same as repeating yourself, Go Murph, HOF
dale murphy has just about as much chance of getting into the HOF as rafael ramirez & glenn hubbard have of being name on the all decade teams....

I can say that Saban has never lead an undefeated team (though a man in your state, a certain Mr. Tuberville has)...I'm not 'bama bashing though. They're not UGA and they're undefeated, so they get my support for a complete season...if it can't be my 'Canes in the ACC and it can't be the Gators, let's at least keep it in the SEC.

Just got my 83 Donruss PSA 10 Murphy in the mail today thanks to a fellow forum user.
BTW, I hate trying to aggravate a bama fan and they respond with a logical well thought out response. In the future, please say something that displays stereotypical southern ignorance
If Bama is fortunate enough to win Saturday night up in Knoxville, I will have plenty of stereotypical southern redneck ignornant comments that I will be shouting at the top of my voice while I'm in Gatlinberg.
