would you trust your autographed baseballs having a professional remove an unwanted sig? (link)

saw this ad in the tuff stuff sports collectibles magazine, how does he do this? if i had a babe ruth ball, i would not trust anyone putting any chemicals on it.

I guess it's just a matter of opinion but if I had a Babe Ruth ball with a bunch no name scribbles on it I would rather just have the Ruth.
