Best way to display GRADED CARDS on a table in the house

Has anyone done anything creative, besides buying a wood/glass display case? If the case is the only way to go, anyone have any positive experience witha specific vendor? I guess the case is really the way to go as it can be locked. Please let me know. I want to put cards out on my desk, which is approximately 30"x48".

  • I have some nice teak wood strips that I was going to notch and glue into a nice pattern that will fit a small set of cards. I'm going to put the pattern on top of the desk with the set in it, and then put a piece of glass on it with some corners brackets so it won't slide around. I'm doing this so I don't have to harm the desk my Dad made in school, otherwise I'd just router it out and put glass on it.

Just something I want to get done someday.
  • I got a nice tall glass front case from Ikea (cheap I think under $100 on sale)... I'll take a picture of it tonight. I also use the small black plastic card stands to hold my graded cards up-right.

The entire floor of the gameroom in my lake house is PSA graded cards with high gloss resin on top of them.
