Wow! I am totally confused! The $6 special is cards limited to $100 value or less....obviously the PSA 10 is more than $100 value.......I am also on the 27th business day of a sub that was submitted on September 8th!?!?!?! It is just very confusing to me the order PSA takes when grading the cards.....I even called PSA to question why my grades havent popped when others haven't even waited a week......I was told it takes 45 days to grade!?!?!?!

I dont know....they sure like my money! And my grades were actually pretty good on my last $14 special sub...I actually had a CSA 8 crack and cross to a PSA 8....so I was stoked about that one!

The value of a card is what you say it is. Within reason obviously. A #6 Ryan/Seaver is worth way less than $100 raw, or even as a PSA 9. How was he supposed to know it would come back a 10?

again, there is no first in, first out order, the graders grab the submissions and grade them whenever they want to on the monthly specials. And if you start mixing up sports and lots of different years, inserts, etc... they really don't seem to like them and will let those rot on the shelves forever. You will not get any help from anyone there until it is on business day 45 and your cards aren't finished unfortunately.

Wow, nice!! I understand that they give some grace on the edges of the OPCs, but that card has one heck of a tilt to it! Still, nice card!

Card does a very slight slight tilt. its not as bad as you make it sound. I have like 10 of these cards and most all have a big tilt. This is as nice as ive seen.

It's a great grade, no doubt, but the tilt is more than slight. What's strange is that when looking at the card horizontally as it is scanned there is no tilt side to side, only top and bottom. Makes me think its more of a problem with the cut. Still a fantastic grade.

No offense, just another case of a miscut card making the way into a 10 holder. In any event you'll be happy with the results!

I'm gonna have to agree with that statement. The 10 looks like it spent the past 31 years inside a pack, where the 8 looks like it has been tossed from top loader to top loader since the Reagan years... the edges don't look like natural OPCs.

EDIT: Just judging by the scans...

yup , I agree absolutely no comparison between that 8 and the 10. would there be a differnce between a 10 and a 9 from a pack , probably not. the 10 is a beauty.

My point being 20$ or a 1000$+ both of which are tilted which imo id pay the 20.

Still havent seen a squared up ryan ldrs which is 5050 they seem to be 5050 and mc or always 6535 and squared up.

Which leads me to my next question though its not tecnically mc its just appears that way. How does this happen? Were
most of the cards from the box tilted? Seems as if they would have to be. Were they printed crooked on the sheet and cut
    square or vice versa.

    Figure that out.

I understand your point as far as what prices go for on a psa 10 (regardless of the card) compared to a psa 8 or even a psa 9. Last night a PSA 10 Pete Rose 1973 topps sold for over $12,000!!! Whate do psa 8's go for ? $50(just guessing)??

yeah that was godsend to that seller. Perfect example 12k with a tilt and dull color or less than 50 for a blazin 8.

Im not dawgin you or tryin to hurt your sale. Regaurdless of what I say here your ryan is gonna fetch a crazy
penny why its nolan bleepin ryan with a pop-1 LOL texas moneys comin to you live.

Thats the game I love it as a seller hate it as a buyer when and if the nice blazin example shows.

Reminds me of the 71 seaver in a 10 holder that was in cu's auction 6 years ago centered 75-25 tb and screamin 10 and it
was in a 10 holder 10 grand later. Thats what it measured louped it myself as did others.

It's not the every day guy buying 10s like that. His card will go for huge money because there ARE those who will go all out for it and go deep in their pockets to have it.

I know that and dealt with many. They use psa holders for christmas tree ornaments or beer coasters.image
