I had heard, several years ago, of someone taking a Ryan rookie to a dealer, asking how much for the card, ultimately liking the price the dealer was willing to pay, came back a day or some days later with the Ryan cut off the Koosman and ready to complete the transaction. Needless to say, no cards and cash swapped hands that day!

LOL. I have a friend who has a 1986 Fleer Michael Jordan RC that looks just like that one. Back when those first came out, he thought it would be cool to have it in his wallet so to make it fit, it needed to be trimmed. He had a few others so he didn't care at the time.
Whatever the guy is seriously undergrading that card, I bet it would have graded Super Awesome Gem Mint 1,000,000. Also Chuck Norris cut it out by just looking at it.
