USPS DC Question

I have a rack case coming. I entered the DC # and then hit details and it says this-

Acceptance, October 07, 2008, 2:14 pm, BROOKLYN, NY 11229
Processed, January 04, 2002, 4:56 am, BETHPAGE, NY 11714

What does processed mean in this situation? Did they re-use the # or ?

They reuse DC numbers. I have had similar results on lots of old DCs I have pulled up in the past.

Yup - they reuse. I've had that happen several times. No worries.
