Who is a Beckett MB Crossover?

i was a poster on the Beckett message borads, but they changed their site and it sucks.. so i am wondering who else came to the PSA boards because the beckett boards are no longer what they used to be?

Many people on here that posted on beckett (this includes me) were posting on both boards, so they aren't exactly crossovers.

When you crossed over, did you crack yourself out of the Beckett slab?

If not, you may come back as "evidence of trimming"

I started on both at about the same time. I think I had about 80 posts on there in the time it took to amass 1000 here. I only ever posted in the BGS threads though. I think I have 3 posts on the SGC board too. I really hate what Beckett did to their site. If they were smart, they would make BGS a completely separate entity on a stand-alone site. Yes, you can have pop reports and registries shadowed while appearing the way it is now, but PSA's registry is an A- and BGS is now a D- (used to be a B-).

By the way, I would give PSA a straight A but it takes them forever to add sets to new competitive registries. I like the showcases, but I'd prefer they be opened up to competition.

I was a regular poster on the football and occasionally on the graded side. I have zero problems with the grading service but the site and the registry are horrible. Why launch a site that was not ready?

I was active in both places at the same time. But since Beckett screwed the pooch with that new disaster of a MB, I hardly ever visit there anymore. Its absolutely putrid.

I have never been on it as far as I can remember, mainly because I thought it was a "Modern" collectors sight.

Net54- dont like it at all, seems like there is not much chatter unless it is pre war baseball.

I used to post over there, but it is now a train wreck og unbelievable proportions.
When one has to spend about 5 minutes just trying to post, it isn't worth it
check out what happened to the site here, notice the downslide from the changeover

I posted over there occasionally and was there since almost the beginning of the boards. I havnt been back since the 1st day or 2 they made the change. They really know how to mess up something dont they???

Never been /used Beckett. I prefer SGC. Consistant grading and all around superior product. I do maintain my 72 Topps Football set with PSA, but the recent changes to their Registry really suck. Absolute overkill on too many useless features make it really user unfriendly.
The SGC Registry is far and away the best out there. Ease of use and Photo format are simply beautiful.
