microsoft live question

Can someone talk me through how this works??

Just go to www.live.com and start searching?? Do I need to sign up somewhere first? If the 30% logo is at the top of the ebay item I'm searching, do I qualify?? Just use the buy it now? All items I'm finding say I "may" qualify for a cashback, what are the reasons I "may not"?

Basically I'm a dumbass and can't figure this out.

Please help!!! My kids want a Wii for Christmas. I didn't know if I needed to sign up with microsoft first or anything else.

Thanks, shawn

I'm still amazed at the number of people that want something but are unable to put the time and effort in to get the facts they need. Is it just human nature to ask someone else to do the work or is it just laziness?

Reading the instructions at www.live.com or eBay would be a great start. Running a search on this site to read the several other threads answering this would be another approach.

But since you're asking, and I've already said my piece, here you go in a nutshell:

    1. Use the www.live.com portal to begin your serach
    2. Item must be available with Buy-it-Now AND seller must accept PayPal (NOTE: Cashback amount varies from time to time and is subject to change - currently 30%)
    3. After clicking the BIN, you should see your Cashback Rebate total displayed BEFORE confirming the purchase.
    4. When you have paid via PayPal, you will receive and email through eBay explaining the Cashback you've earned.
    5. Click the link, sign up for your Live.com account, and activate your account.
    6. Continue to shop for discounts.

Currently, you can make one purchase per 60 minute session and no more than six purchase per account. There is a limit of $200 Cashback Rebate per purchase.

    Hope this helps...

    Scott, thanks, I think.

I tried This thread, and this thread, and even this thread but couldn't find any answers as to whether you had to join or sign up through microsoft.

But I appreciate the straightfoward help I was looking for, even with the implication of me being a lazy POS being sprinkled in.

Yes, it was implied. But it was not only directed at you, but at so many others. If you made an honest effort, fantastic. But so many here and in daily life DON'T!

Hope the information helped and I figure it's only a matter of 48 hours before someone else posts the SAME question...

Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to wipe my butt? I've tried many times but something always seems to go wrong.

Your going to need the following equipment:

    1) 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
    2) a 9 iron
    3) 6 toothpicks
    4) a copy of national geographic (something from 1984 works best)

I will provide details on how to use them if it isn't obvious to you.
