help me on the msn discount thing

seems like everyone is doing this.. how do you do it and what is the catch?

    Have to go to the Microsoft Live search engine and type in anything that may be on eBay in the search feature. Ipod works well. Click on the first link you see that is from eBay. When you log into eBay, there should be an icon at the top of the page that says 30% off for BIN purchases.

    Only catch is you can only use it three times, so don't waste it on $2.00 items.

    how often do they do it, i looked in my cashback thing and it says like 53 days,is that when i can get my $ back to paypal? its kinda confusing,i did 3 just messing around-it took me forever to figure it out,by the time they do it again,ill forgetimage

    They changed it to 20%

    1) It takes 60 days to get the $$$ into your Paypal account

    2) The % changes with no notice. It was 30% a couple days ago - but has dropped to 20%. I've seen it as low as 8%

    3) It only applies to BINs.

    Will not work with best offers If you want to use it like that, email the seller a question and ask them to lower their Buy it Now and you'll buy it for xxxx.xx Once they lower the Buy it Now, then do it.

    The catch is that you may not ever be paid. Some people overextend themselves because after the cashback offer they are getting a deal. It doesn't work so well when they don't pay you.

    Being that most of us here use this feature as a BUYER and don't count on it for a BIN sale, I think the above statement is not applicable.

    BTW, the Cashback is now back to 30% (just used it and "saved" $180 - over $500 "saved" on 3 transactions), although that may change again without notice.

    Currently, the MS Cashback program allows for 6 transactions with a $200 rebate cap per transaction. The 6 transaction limit applies per account. If you have multiple accounts, you may be able to use 12 or more rebate purchases.

    They upped it to six times. I've already used it four times and have gotten 3 of 4 rebates safely delivered to my paypal account.
