Autographed Cards - Red Flip vs Blue Flip

I saw the great autographed 1952 Topps set Rube is working on and had a few questions:

1) How do you get autographed cards graded so they receive Red flips? I know if you submit your autographed cards under the PSA / DNA you get a Blue flip.

2) Can you add Blue flips to the set registry?

only the red flips can be entered in a registry set.

blue flips mean that the Auto has been authenticated.

red means that and the card is graded.

only know this because I have a few in my 33 Goudey set.

"red means that and the card is graded."

I have lots of red ones that are not graded. Maybe they have a new scheme now, though.

I like the way the red ones look.

Just talked to customer service on the phone and they said this:

Red Flip - indicates autograph is authentic and card is authentic (you have the option of getting a grade or just "authentic")

Blue Flip - indicates autograph is authentic, but no opinion on the card is rendered

Other differences, members can submit for red flips through PSA or blue flips through PSA/DNA, but non-members can only submit for blue flips through PSA/DNA and not directly through PSA.

    Take care,

Too bad they can't make it more complicated.
