Overall I'm pretty happy and I've still got two more submissions with the same order that haven't popped yet that includes a couple of other Mantles.

    Now when they come back use the info to futher your skills grasshopper.

    A couple 8s from the 60s is never a bad thing on a first sub!

    Geez, and a hidden 9 in there...not a bad start...I wish I could find high grade ventage around here.

    all of the '61's are from a full set that bought a couple of months ago. 132 of the set were already graded and I'm subbing a lot of the other ones from the raw cards. I didn't expect that 9. I'm pretty happy with the Mantle AS 6. The regular issue Mantle in the set is a 6 also. I've got another batch of about 50 ready to go that includes the Yaz and Kaline and the Yaz looks the best of any of the cards I submitted.

    I bought the set for $2000 because the guy didn't take any pictures of the raw cards and it looks like I got a steal because the raw cards are all in great condition. Of the 132 that he had graded 82 are 7 or better with a couple of 9's and 39 8's.

    the other 6 are on another sub including the Mantle, Musial, Killebrew, Hodges, Roberts, and Ashburn.

    The last group of the 36 I sent in just popped. Overall I was very pleased. I had 1-9, 10-8's, 8-7's, 9-6's, 4-5's, 3-4's, and 1-2 (not sure why, it must have had some sort of stain that I didn't see). The Mantle grades were good I thought. The '60 and the '61 All Star got 6's and the '61 Mantle blast got a 7.
