How do you crack a card out of another holder?

I haven't done this yet but was thinking of cracking a couple of cards out of BVG and SGC holders to submit to PSA. What is the best way to do this without hurting the cards or myself?

Break the top 2 corners off using a pair of pliers. Usually the case can be easily pried open with a flathead screwdriver.

I use a glass cutter to make a straight line cut across the top of the flip. That makes it easier to make a clean break with the pliers.

I would try an 8lb sledge hammer. If that don't work, the 12lb pound should.
