quick question for football collectors

I stopped at an flea market today and found 3 black and white pictures (8x10) of football players. not sure who they are. when i got home i took them out of the sleeve. on the back one says otto graham jeresy number 34
frank gifford in jersey 33 and y.a. tittle jersey number 33

The jersey numbers have me a bit confused...any help????

They put numbers on jerseys in all the major sports.

They have been doing it for many years.

It helps the fan spot their favorite player more easily.

Judging by the stars on Gifford's jersey, it's possible that it's from an all-star game, where he had to wear a different number than his usual #16.

Very true. I can't figure out the Tittle and Graham. Their jerseys look like their 49ers and Browns jerseys.

I checked collage and the numbers don't match either. The guy I bought them from didn't even know who the players are
