Tampered with PSA case?

Halladay Rookie

This is a card I've been after for a while, but I just don't think there's any way this case hasn't been messed with.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

  • It's a risk, all the signs of tampering are there.

The guy says that the case is cracked.

If I was him I'd have it re holdered.

    Good for you.
  • The seller has been around a long time with great feedback!

Plus, he disclosed the fact that the holder was cracked.

Ask him if he would have a problem with you sending the card back to be reholdered.

If he gives you a song and a dance, I'd pass.

My gut feeling is that he'd give you the okay.

    JMHO,

Yes, I should have mentioned that I don't think the seller is trying to pull a fast one or anything. He seems legit. But that case looks more than just cracked. Entirely possible the seller just doesn't know.
