Competition for the 1988 Donruss Donruss Mike LaValliere PSA 1 (MK)

Perhaps some competition for the 1988 Donruss Donruss Mike LaValliere PSA 1 (MK) in the form of a 1968 Topps Nolan Ryan PSA 1? The grade is technically higher and the player obviously of greater ability/notoriety, but the "defect" on the card is somewhat unique.

Randy it's a 1960 Bell Brand Dodgers card. They were sealed in cellophane and inserted in various size bags of corn chips and potato chips.

And it's sad that the damage was done but makes it super cheap to pick up a great card that I could never afford in high grade.

Barf, nothing to do with the post; I just have to say I really like your icon. Ross and Kiss; what a pair!
  • Wow ! What are the odds of two cards having almost identical damage like that?

I used a hole punch on a 1978 Rod Carew when I was a kid. I love that card. Honestly, I think it looks weird to see a 78 Carew without a hole in the corner...
