  For a Monday night, vintage baseball listings were few and far between (with my only listing - I ended up doing very well on a T205 PSA 6 common probably because of it)

  I guess it all depends on what you are searching for. Vintage football has certainly heated up this past month or so, at least in the mid-grade sets I am trying to cobble together.
  
  I just won 27 1950 Bowman cards in PSA 5 or PSA 6, most well below market, including a few stars and HOF rookie.
  
  The seller was asking $5.00 for shipping which scared away some prospective bidders I am sure. However, additional cards were $1.00 shipping, so I bid on all of them and picked some up for as little as $2.50 delivered.
  
  
  
  I have also picked up about 20 other graded vintage singles in the past week alone... and you can be sure I lost far more of these auctions than I won. Things were dead for a while, but that's the normal off-season / summer activities downturn. Not sure why baseball would be so slow now though.

  There are alot of people right now who have more to worry about than Ebay. There are also still millions across East Texas witout power and those not affected by the storm itself are still feeling its effects at the pump.

  a tsunami of events recently; the collapse on wall street, the back to back Hurricanes. agreed. crappy time right now for millions of folks.

  There are a ton of 55 topps, tho ALL bin's and all are going higher than their lowest VCP sale
