2 weeks ago i bought a singel pack of 1980/1981 Topps basketball.. my first ever pack.. and in it a pulled the bird/Dr J/johnson rookie.. i sent it ot SGC for grading, and it came back an 86 NM+.. not a bad pack for $36.

this card was one that i always wanted as a kid.. living in SoCal and all..
when i was a young collector in the late 80's i could never afford to pu a pcak let alone the card.. i have had plenty of chances to buy the card, but i always wanted to get a pack.. so good things come to those who wait

Good for you I was just joking around with you... I've always wanted to pull a 89 ud Griffey but I've struck out everytime I've tried!
