Funny you should reference that card. When I was a kid (I'm 44 now), I helped my dad build a bathroom in our house and threw 2 packs worth (opened) of Welcome Back Kotter cards under the floorboards before we sealed it up. Looks like I'm a going home with a crowbar!

Boo hoo. I looked at SMR and over bid that. Looked at previous sales and over bid that. And then I threw in a few extra hundred dollars and made my bid with 2 second to go. And I still lost.

From what I heard, it was the rare 1st series "Garbage Pail Kids" card - "Fryin Brian"
a tough one to find in PSA 9 or better
