How long does Memory Lane usually extend?

So the auction is over and 15 minute rule is in effect. How long does that usually go on?

edit to change from Mastro to Memory Lane.

  • I imagine 15 min., which could repeat itself forever if bidders decide such.

Yeah I figured the 15 minute part out, but I was wondering what type of extension was typical? (I have not heard that phrase other than in those late night enlargment infomercials).

Does it usually go a day, couple days, week? I cannot remember what others have said, I am usually never winning by that point haha.
  • I was in the last Memory Lane auction and the 15 minute rule went pretty late. I am pretty sure that it continued until around 7:00 the next morning.

In the only Mastro auction I was in, I got a signed Koufax 1955 Topps rookie card and the 15 minute rule extended to about 4:30 AM the next morning.

Mastro has a 30 minute rule per lot. Most lots end by 930pm PDT, 30 minutes after extended bidding. It's pretty rare for anything to be open by 10pm, although I was in on one lot once until midnite.
Memory Lane can go on until the next dawn.

  • Are you talking about the current Memory Lane Auction or the Mastro auction that ended on Aug 28th? Memory Lane's will probably run until 4:00-5:00AM EST.
  • WOW! I could not bid on a card for that longimage

Yeah those 15 minutes turn into hours.

The item is up for auction for a month then the last 15 minutes takes another month.

Good luck by the way if you are bidding.

    Good for you.
  • The thing I really liked about it is how rather than the 15:00 clock starting over on the bid it ran all the way down then started over.
