Some eBay buyers are just stupid

Let's see... I can buy one from this eBay seller for $56.00 or I can buy two from Steve Hart for the same price and still have money left over.

I know it's been said on these boards that some buyers have more money than brains, but this is plain stupidity!

  • Stuff like that is pretty common, I have sold identical items ending the same day at the same time and have one go without any bids and the next one have 20 bids.

Some people just do not like to lose when they bid. That is what makes auctions so fn sometimes.

I have quite a few old buddies that fit the "more money than brains" category, but they're definitely not stupid.

If you had more money than you knew what to do with, would you worry about finding the cheapest price?

Not every buyer/collector is on a budget image

Of course, in this particular case, since the auction isn't over yet, and the winning buyer's user name is yet to be seen, it's kind of difficult
to make any conclusions based on his/her past auction ventures.

And, as previously mentioned by Leiascards, some people love to win and hate to lose.

Looks like the result of when a SNIPE goes bad!

  • Why complain? Why not "arbitrage" the mismatch? Buy from Steve, sell to the buyers that "have more money than brains"...
